May – June 2003

KUNST IM MITTELPUNKT

My studio will be opened this year for the exhibition titled "Kunst im Mittelpunkt" ("Art in the Center") in June on Sunday the 15th from 11.00am to 6.00pm at the Markusplatz in the Schöller-Fabrik, Spinnerweg 51-56 in Eitorf/Sieg.

I cordially invite everybody who is friends with fine tones, fine lines, intensive colors and inspiring conversations!

As special guest I invited the Polish poet and essayist Piotr Piaszczynski. His poems and short prose texts will be presented in German and Polish.
I will show a series of new small-sized Farblandschaften (color landscapes).

April – May 2002

I am currently preparing an exhibit for Rheinisches Landesmuseum Bonn titled LAND / ÜBER / GANG. It will be displayed in the ALTE ROTATION showroom, at Justus-von-Liebig-Str. 15, Bonn.

The opening will take place on 22 May, 2002 at 18:00.

The exhibit will feature ten multi-element paintings and a ground installation. There will be a catalogue available that covers the new works shown at the exhibit. Background music will be provided by a known multi-instrument artist Michael Niesemann.

The exhibit will run until 21 July, 2002

January - March 2002

The artistic event SPIELART (PLAYART) initiated by me, will take place in Summer 2002 in the open area next to the Glasfachschule/Glas-Pavillon in Rheinbach near Bonn/Germany. Participating artists are given the task of creating artistic object that can be played with.  The objective is to encourage the public to put the objects in motion and to discover their playful application.

The presentation of object concepts planned for the event will take place first in the City Museum in Siegburg (28 April – 26 May 2002) and then in the City Hall in Rheinbach (2 June – 14 July 2002).

The opening of  the event is planned for Sunday, 14 July 2002 in Rheinbach.

September - October 2001

• I am currently preparing 2 art-projects for 2002 and 2003: "PlayArt" -  like "Art for Playground" - in Rhein-Sieg -District (the concept has been finalized)
  and "Thread", a theme exhibition  with artists from Germany and other countries (Eitorf/Germany and Bregenz/Austria/.
• From  5th to 21st October 2002 the exhibition "Continuum" will be displayed  in Poland:
  Zielona Gora, ProArte-Gallery, at the Market-Place.
• On 4th of November, 2001 you have an opportunity to visit me in my studio in Eitorf:
  we have an "Open-House on Markus-Place , Schoeller-Fabrik, Eitorf). Everyone is invited!
• In the preparation stage is my main art exhibition in Landesmuseum Bonn, May 2002.
